What is in EM DRINK? Purified water, lactic acid bacteria, yeasts, organic arionasap (16%), natural cassis aroma (4%), wheat bran extract and nothing else. EM Drink is lactose-free, vegan and free of artificial colours, flavours and preservatives.
NO SUGARS | To activate and grow the lactic acid bacteria, they are fed with sugar. The sugar is 100% digested and converted into lactic acid. EM Drink therefore no longer contains sugar.
FERMENTATION | Fermenting is probably known from sauerkraut. Fresh white cabbage is stored with the help of lactic acid bacteria and under anoxic conditions. White cabbage becomes fermented white cabbage. If you would leave the same cabbage in a bowl, it would rot. The microbiology responsible for the fermentation process excretes very useful metabolic products: antioxidants, vitamins, enzymes, natural antibiotics and growth hormones. Fermentation is, therefore, a preservation technique that preserves nutrients and energy.
