EM-5 is used to prevent diseases and pests in crops, but mainly to repel harmful insects.
EM-5 works as a repellant, it repels certain insects. It does not kill the insects, it drives them away. This is due to the volatile components in EM5. However, it is not selective, so bumblebees and bees can also be kept away with EM-5. However, it does not kill them. When used pure or in a highly concentrated form, it can kill lice, among other things. This is because of the low pH of EM-5.
EM-5 is not a chemical crop protection agent and is not poisonous. Although the application of chemical agents has quick results, they are harmful to the plants and the soil. In the long run, the effects of chemical agents can be disastrous, not only for the environment, but also for your health. Chemical pesticides are used to solve a problem with force and speed, they are used at specific intervals (symptom). EM5 is applied from the time of planting, so before any disease or pest develops (cause).
EM-5 has no harmful side effects, not even with excessive use. EM-5 improves the resistance of the plant through absorption of EM5. This increases the level of anti-oxidation. Anti-oxidation is the ability to suppress diseases and pests, which increases the immunity of the plant.
Despite the fact that EM-5 needs some time to do its work, depending on the soil and the type of crop, EM-5 has a favourable effect on the environment, the soil and the plant. Good soil fertility and soil health promote a healthy and strong crop that protects itself against diseases and pests.
Dilute EM-5 in water with an application rate of 1 teaspoon EM-5 IN 1 Ltr water. Spray the plant with this dilution.
Start spraying after germination as a preventative method before plant sickness and insects. Spray in the morning and after heavy rainfall. Apply EM-5 frequently 1x per week when insects are present or 1x per 4 weeks as prevention.
To treat plant disease or infestation spray daily until the problem is diminished and then 1-2 times per week.
